Facebook's Internet drone 'Acquila' succeeded for the second time

Facebook's social media chief on June 29 said on Thursday that their Internet drone aquila successfully completed the second test. This Facebook jet is designed to deliver internet services to remote areas of the world.
Facebook is planning to develop solar-powered drones that can fly simultaneously for a few months and connect with each other through lasers and establish an Internet connection on the ground below. Martin Lewis Gomez, director of Facebook's Arnational Platform, said in a blog post that the second test was run on May 22. This aircraft flew 1 hour and 46 minutes before landing in Arizona.

ফেসবুক সৌরচালিত এই ড্রোনের দ্রুতগতির বিকাশের পরিকল্পনা করছে যা কিনা একসাথে কয়েক মাস ধরে উড়তে পারবে এবং লেজারের মাধ্যমে একে অপরের সাথে যোগাযোগ করবে এবং নীচের ভূমিতে ইন্টারনেট সংযোগ স্থাপন করবে। ২০১৬ সালের জুন মাসে প্রতিষ্ঠানটি তাদের প্রথম এই এয়ারক্রাফটের পরীক্ষা চালিয়েছিল। ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত উইং এর কারণে অ্যারিজোনার মরুভূমিতে এই ড্রোন ভূপাতিত হয়।
ফেসবুকের অ্যারনটিক্যাল প্ল্যাটফর্মের পরিচালক মার্টিন লুইস গোমেজ এক ব্লগ পোস্টে বলেন, দ্বিতীয় পরীক্ষাটি ২২ মে চালানো হয়েছে। এই এয়ারক্র্যাফট অ্যারিজোনায় ল্যান্ড করার আগে ১ ঘন্টা ৪৬ মিনিট উড়েছিল।
