নতুন আরেকটি অ্যান্ড্রয়েডচালিত স্মার্টফোন বাজারে আনতে যাচ্ছে নকিয়া। এবারে মডেলটির নাম হবে নকিয়া ৮। এর দাম হতে পারে ৬০০ মার্কিন ডলার। এর আগে নকিয়া ৩, ৫, ৬ মডেলের স্মার্টফোন বাজারে ছেড়েছে এইচএমডি গ্লোবাল।
ফিনল্যান্ডের মোবাইল নির্মাতা এই প্রতিষ্ঠানটি নকিয়ার কাছ থেকে ব্র্যান্ড নাম কিনে নকিয়া ফোন তৈরি ও বাজারজাত করছে।প্রযুক্তি বিশ্বে নকিয়ার নতুন দুটি স্মার্টফোন ঘিরে গুঞ্জন তৈরি হয়েছে। এর মধ্যে অন্যতম নকিয়া ৮।
আরেকটি মডেল হবে নকিয়া ৯। নকিয়া ৮ হচ্ছে হাই-এন্ড স্মার্টফোন আর ৯ হবে ফ্ল্যাগশিপ স্মার্টফোন। অবশ্য নতুন এ দুটি মডেল সম্পর্কে আনুষ্ঠানিকভাবে কিছু জানায়নি এইচএমডি।
জার্মানির প্রযুক্তিবিষয়ক ওয়েবসাইট উইনফিউচার বলছে, নকিয়া ৮-এর মডেল নম্বর টিএ ১০০৪। আগে এ মডেলটিকে নকিয়া ৯ মনে করা হচ্ছিল। তবে নকিয়া ৯-এর বদলে তা নকিয়া ৮ হিসেবে বাজারে আসতে পারে।
কী থাকবে নকিয়া ৮-এ? ধারণা করা হচ্ছে, স্মার্টফোনটিতে কোয়ালকম স্ন্যাপড্রাগন ৮৩৫ প্রসেসর, চার জিবি র্যাম, ডুয়াল সিম, ৬৪ জিবি ইন্টারনাল মেমোরি থাকবে। এতে কোয়াড এইচডি (১৪৪০ বাই ২৫৬০ পিক্সেল) ডিসপ্লে থাকবে।
 ডিসপ্লের মাপ হবে ৫ দশমিক ৩ ইঞ্চি। এতে জেইস ব্র্যান্ডের ক্যামেরা থাকবে। চারটি রঙে বাজারে আসবে নকিয়া। জুলাই মাসের শেষ নাগাদ ইউরোপের বাজারে ফোনটি আসবে। পরে অন্যান্য দেশের বাজারে এটি ছাড়তে পারে এইচএমডি গ্লোবাল।
