এ যেন সিনেমার ঘটনাই সত্যি হয়ে দাঁড়াল বাস্তবের মাটিতে। ‘টার্মিনেটর টু’-র স্কাইনেটের কথা মনে আছে তো? সেই ভয়ঙ্কর আর্টিফিশিয়াল ইন্টালিজেন্স-এর থাবায় প্রায় গ্রাস হয়ে গিয়েছিল গোটা মানবসভ্যতা। রোবটশাসিত সেই পৃথিবীতে শোচনীয় পরিণতি হয়েছিল মানুষের। ফেসবুকের সাম্প্রতিক এই ঘটনা যেন সেই সিনেমার কথাই মনে করাচ্ছে।আগেই আর্টিফিশিয়াল ইন্টালিজেন্স (এআই) নিয়ে কাজ করার কথা জানিয়েছিল ফেসবুক। তবে ‘এআই’ নিয়ে ঠিক কী ধরনের কাজ করছে তারা, তা জানায়নি খোলসা করে। এ বার নিরাপত্তা সংক্রান্ত ইস্যুতে স্বপ্নের সেই ‘এআই’-এর কাজ বন্ধই করে দিল ফেসবুক। দিন কয়েক আগেই ‘টেসলা’-র সিইও এলোন মাস্ক আর্টিফিশিয়াল ইন্টালিজেন্সি নিয়ে কাজ না করার পরামর্শ দিয়েছিলেন ফেসবুকের সিইও মার্ক জুকেরবার্গকে। টুইটারে তিনি জানান, জুকেরবার্গের এই বিষয়ে ‘জ্ঞান’টাও খুব কম। সেই সময় মাস্কের সঙ্গে জুকেরবার্গের কিছুটা কথা কাটাকাটিও হয়। এলোন বলেছিলেন, ‘এআই’ নিয়ে কাজ করা মানব সভ্যতার জন্য ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ হতে পারে। মাস্কের এই সতর্ক বার্তার পর দু’দিনও কাটল না। নিরাপত্তার স্বার্থে ‘এআই’-এর প্রোজেক্টই বন্ধ করে দিল ফেসবুক।
